SUCCESS THROUGH MISSION ALIGNED PROJECTS
Helping you achieve success in your most complex, highly visible programs with customized, scalable solutions aligned to you mission and strategies. We bring experience, proven methodologies, and talented, committed professionals to bear on the most challenging situations.
We base our comprehensive project management approach on industry’s best practices. Our Program and Project Management Team utilizes global standards from the Project Management Institutes Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide), and we enhance our services through our corporate best practices.
Unlike other organizations, Ulu HI-Tech has both “dual hatted” technical personnel and certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) to oversee your projects success. For larger projects, we can provide dedicated PMs who know how to manage resources, compress schedules, correctly assign and reallocate resources, and effectively manage subcontractors through an earned value management system.
QUALITY ASSURANCE ACHIEVED THROUGH RIGHT-SIZED TESTING
By applying the right kind of testing for your situation, we assure that the quality and value you expect from a quality assurance program and test management team is received.
CONFORMANCE TESTING
Conformance testing is the process of assessing the compliance of a product to the defining specification or standard. Specialized test tools are used to exercise a product to determine if the proper actions and reactions are produced. The test tool is normally the only device the product being evaluated is connected to. Successful completion of a conformance test will enhance the probability of interoperability with other products that have been successfully conformance tested.
JOINT AND COMBINED INTEROPERABILITY TESTING AND CERTIFICATION
Through interoperability testing, our teams assess the ability of a system to exchange usable electronic information with systems of other services or nations, as specified in its requirements documentation. Specialized test tools are used to monitor performance of products to determine if the proper actions and reactions are produced, and if so, the system is certified as interoperable at the completion of successful interoperability testing.
DEVELOPMENTAL TESTING AND EVALUATION (DT&E)
Ulu HI-Tech conducts developmental testing on software and systems concurrent with product development. Through this process, We prepare for formal, operational testing, and provide all supporting documentation required to bring weapons and supporting products to market.
OPERATIONAL TESTING & EVALUATION (OT&E)
During operational testing, our team of experts evaluate the performance of weapons and supporting products in an operational environment. Due to the resource requirements needed to generate realistic environments, operational testing is usually conducted in conjunction with military exercises.
VALIDATION TESTING
Through Validation testing our team of experts ensure: (1) proper requirements coverage by the proposed standards or specifications; and (2) correct standards or specifications are available as the basis for developing products. In the context of validation, correct standards would be those demonstrated to be self-consistent, complete and feasible. Validation testing consists of two general phases: static analysis which satisfies item (1) above, and dynamic analysis which satisfies item (2) above.
AUTHORIZATION & ACCREDITATION (A&A)
The Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) process ensures that systems, and major applications, adhere to formal and established security requirements that are well documented and authorized. Informally known as A&A, Certification and Accreditation is required by the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All systems and applications that reside on U.S. government networks must go through a formal A&A before being put into production, and every three years thereafter. Since accreditation is the ultimate output of a A&A initiative, and a system or application cannot be accredited unless it meets specific security guidelines, clearly the goal of A&A is to force federal agencies to put into production secure systems and applications.
