Ulu HI-Tech is looking for a Microsoft Azure System Administrator. This role is expected to work within a team managing a high-profile project that involves the migration of a marquee system within the Federal Government. The ideal candidate has experience configuring and maintaining Azure Tenants. Responsibilities:
Responsible for configuration and maintenance of all Azure resources, including but not limiting to:
- User groups, accounts and privileges of test and production environments
- Resource groups, network segments, private networks, public IP addresses
- Virtual Host configurations as well as dedicated host configurations
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) container management including deployment and maintenance of containers
- Azure Container Registry (ACR) management
- DevSecOps pipeline configuration, support and maintenance
- Storage, backup and connectivity
- Implement operational efficiency via Azure PowerShell scripting
- Maintain .Net framework cloud environment
Other Duties:
- Database environment configuration and support (not including the databases)
- Provide user/team support
- Reconcile monthly Azure charges in preparation for contractor’s monthly billing for test lab
Qualifications:
- 8 yrs experience working IT, Information Security and Information System projects.
- 4+ years’ experience as Cloud System Administrator
- 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Dev Ops
- Bachelor’s Degree or above
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills and with the ability to tie organization objectives to mission critical objectives
- Experience in MS Power Apps (MS Power Automate or MS Flow)
- Expert in using Microsoft Windows Server and/or Microsoft Azure for the infrastructure
- Experience with MS development Frameworks, i.e. Azure Stack, .NET Framework, SharePoint, Web API, MS Dynamics CRM, WCF, ASP.NET & Web forms
- Heavy familiarity with Agile methodologies, SCRUM and JIRA issue tracking
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Must be a motivated team player but also able to work independently in an agile software development team
- Passionate about delivering with quality
